Dirk
can i join? i always have good intentions with core training but it soon dwindles away.

normally do a few 'planks' 'supermans', sit-ups, pushups, plus a few light weight reps - but i don't find it very fun - not compared to running anyway....

motivation please...

Well in case you want to sneak to a spare room to try now you lay face down arms out in front and lift arms and legs off floor so basically lying only on torso. As a variation lift opposite arm and leg together then vice versa. Hold for 10 seconds, repeat ....

erm.. hello.

I suppose I'm not unusual in that since I've really gotten into running, I've done next to no core/strengthening work. I used to do Body Pump twice a week and was pretty toned but that was a long time ago. I started BP again recently and whilst my legs are strong, I'm shocked at how weak my upper body is, and my core definitely needs work.

So, I'm intending to keep up the BP once a week, but will also try out some of the stuff in the links up there ^ and see if I can shift this belly ;)
