Thanks for sharing that kettlebell video Lil, that looks short but very effective. I'll try that. I did 50 min yoga yesterday, that's session 1 for this week. Tonight the kettlebell 6 min session for the second session. |

Wow, 2 mins plank is good going. I do 60s, but do leg lifts and stuff, then 2 x 60s side plank with twists. Pilates tonight was great too - loads of tough core, including plank with knees to elbows etc. Good sesh. G

I did that 6min kettle bell session again tonight. I really like it for some reason. I'm only using a 2.5kg weight, but that 'high plank' exercise is REALLY tough!

Core is same as any other training - start gentle, build it up, take rests periodically. Even more than running, technique must be even more important with core, I'd think, given that it involves a lot of hingeing from your back etc. Go careful Bez! G

Still hanging around RS 😀. Had a busy few weeks as it seems to be half marathon season for a fair few of my clients and busy with my own training. Been toying with new conditioning techniques for people. By the moans and death threats I've been getting blood shunting seems the way to go 😈 |

I liked that video too. A leisure centre near me (but not very near me) has kettlebell classes. |

Is it possible to have a link to the 6-minute kettlebell video on the right-hand side of this page? Whom do we ask?
