As it appears that the first little metal plate signposting the way in Germany was only put up last month, I hope the guide book is more than excellent in detail. A town planner said that the best way to get a bike from one town along the "trail" to another is to take it on the train. Austria seems to have made more progress with the signing. |

Further reading makes me think that most of the trail in Germany is over existing trails, so putting up a new sign on an old trail isn't very significant. Funny how German-German sounds weird in English, but deutsch-deutsch is so familiar. |

It's clearly been made from spliced photos. There are several torsos without legs, some legs on their own and someone's hair floating in space |
