Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

The hundred pressup challenge - anyone up for it?

I do shoulder width apart, palms flat. Willprobably end up doing them on my knuckles like I used to eventually. First day tomorrow :-)

I used to be able to do 125 press-ups, but I'm not sure they were legal. It used to bl**dy knacker me out though. Oxygen debt, wobbly back, legs and arms, five minutes psyching up and five minutes recovering. At circuits I tend to do fewer, slower pressups, mostly because if I do them quickly it annoys the instructor who then decides to make them harder.

I read the website and it actually suggests doing them on your knuckles if you have weak wrists! I don't think I'll be doing that!...never mind that my nails would pierce my palms...lol

My arms hurt today after doing day 1 yesterday. Not sure if its that or the weights workout I did afterwards!

Ouch!

Day 1 for me today. My Gp says I'm unlikely to be able to do it because of damage done to my arms and shoulders in a car accident some years ago. He is, of course, wrong and I'm looking forward to proving him wrong:-)
