Sorry guys - I don't think I'm going to make it tomorrow. Have checked train times and it'll be another 6+ hour round trip - after travelling so much on the last few weekends, I'm not sure I can face it.
Feel free to give me loads of action points though

Great to meet you all today.
JJ, you'll have an e-mail with photos when my laptop stops sulking and uploads them, and I've asked for the risk assessment for our Harvest Trail, telling them we'll be plagiarising it shamelessly!

Not to worry Mick. We had ourselves a good run, and a good meet. Next time maybe. Will Let JJ fill in the details.

OK folks, Big news on the MicknPhil half.
We met with Severn Trent today at Draycote and they told us that they will be digging up the road around the lake between October and February meaning that we would be unable to run right around it. There is no alternative but to delay the race. We have booked the 8th March with Severn Trent and will now have to go back to UK Athletics for the new date to be confirmed. Watch this space.
It is a little disappointing but it also has certain advantages – we can advertise the race as a run up race to the FLM. We have more time to put the details into place. Car Parking will be less of a problem in Spring than it could be in Autumn.
So, apologies to any who have already booked the date; please check your diaries for the new one.
In the mean time we were able to put most of our risk assessment into place and some team members have agreed to hunt down some club RAs to ensure haven’t missed anything. We are pulling together the promotional material and getting our message to the running world clear – Mick&Phil are an inspirational pair and they need our help to keep them running.
We are organising Fetchie runs for the middle of every month at Draycote. We will discuss the race after every run in the cafe and then adjourn to the pub but, whether you are keen to help organise or not, please come and do the Fetchie thing with us around the lake. It is a beautiful and inspiring place to run, and there is good Fetchie company to be had. Oh, and it isn’t flat, is it Flanker, SmileyGirlie and Hashette? It was lovely to meet the old faces and also the new ones - KatieB, Hashette, Wendolene Wobbler and Silvershadow. This organising group is like the Hotel California...
Next run 10th August. One lap leaving at 11 am. Meeting at 12. More laps? Come in your own good time.
Sir Fetch, I will be emailing you a list of questions and jobs later.
