You could always put out cones/tape and voila, the track instantly doubles in length. Gonna need a lot of cones/tape tho.

We get about 40 - 43 weeks a year to compete
and in that time can compete in up to about 55 races !!

What races do mick n phils local authority/running clubs put on already - perhaps it might be better to rebrand/hijack/hostile takeover an existing race. At leadt that way there will be people who already know what goes into organising it

Probably the wrong time to mention this but if we expected more than around 750 runners we may need to think of using some form of chips to record time/places otherwise it is a very big ask to do a paper recording for that many runners.
And I reckon we would want the course measured correctly aswell. Gosh! theres a lot to think about.
