Keep it all coming folks. I have to keep printing stuff so I don't lose the ideas in the depths of the thread.

Lurks, it would be lovely to have you on board, I'll e-mail you later in the week.

Runny Bunny, I hope we said hello to you out there today and yes, we will accept any offer of help (we aren't proud, we're Fetchies).

Mick, have a really good, chillin week. We are doing this for you, please don't feel you hace to help. You have enough to do from day to day. Your advice on running is super, keep it up, and perhaps you can actually be at the front of the race at the start on the day for a change.

Lurker... Stratford papers know Mick n'Phil v. well but hate to say it but B'ham papers tend to be quite parochial too... that said I'm going to do my damndest to get a few features out of this to plug the cause, starting with a proper chat with a certain Sir Mick!

Sorry I was not there today, I happened to be taking part in a half marathon. Sounds like you have got of to a good start with this event, publicity is the first urgent need for this event, although if it is limited to a thousand runners I have a feeling it may fill fast anyway.

I can be available to help on the day, whichever it is, and can distribute forms or publicity at many races, mainly Notts/Derbyshire. I can offer advice on most things to do with the organisation of the event but it seems you may have most of it covered, if there is anything you may still have questions about, I may be able to help.

It is good to see this event starting to take shape and well done on moving it forward JJ.
