I think the idea was that it may be held at a race track etc, with a few laps so that say a 10k could be a 'leaving point' of the race.

We can bump grind bonk and boing until the cows come home but if someone doesn't make some decisions this isn't going anywhere! Unless I missed something?
I'm sure it's been said before but the first thing to sort is surely a race committee of say 3 people to decide the where and the when; race director, treasurer and entries secretary? Then they can start to draw on all the offers of help that have been made.
