Excellent
Well, Mick and Phil live in Warwickshire, so I figure somewhere vaguely near there. As for a date, I'm figuring any date that doesn't clash with other stuff, as far as possible. I was wondering about something like Silverstone, because we could perhaps hire the track, and then it's simple - no road closures, private land, fewer H&S police. I'd like to make it a marathon, but I think it would be more realistic to get more people involved if we go for a half marathon. I also thought that if we can turn a small profit with the entry fees, we can give it to Mick as a donation to help him with race attendance throughout the year.
Any thoughts?

Why not a track marathon?
Okay maybe a bit extreme.
Was going to suggest a towpath run too, but I guess that could actually potentially exlude the boys, which would be a bit daft.
Draycote? Anything similar around there? Must be loads of lakes up your way.

Great idea, it must cost them a bloody fortune in travelling and entry costs...

Could you not have both a half and a full marathon??
Would Silverstone be expensive to hire too?
