So, call them what you will, Donut Peaches, Doughnut Peaches, Flat Peaches.

I am a new convert, was always rather suspicious of them.

I have bought two lots so far, 3 for £1 and 4 for £1, the first were better, evenly ripe, tasty, but not as tasty as proper peaches, or nectarines.....much easier to eat though.

Go compare! prices, experiencs, new fruit.....

I bought some round Tescos this evening not tried them yet on the back of the mundane thread

Pack of 5 for £1 but I got them for 69p as they had a promotional offer. I shall report back when I've tried one

I have too bought them, frst ones were larger and 4 for 95pence, todays ones are smaller and 8 for 95pence in Asda. I do find them tasty but also do need a couple of days to ripen at home

We first came across them in France and were delighted when they appeared here.

Aldi had them at 49p for 4, for a time; but no longer.

However, I bought some flat nectarines yesterday. Haven't tried them yet.

Hmm I saw them in Aldi during food shop on Friday night, but OH refused to be entertained by them, given they were 'just normal peaches squashed down'....

Like all peaches, some of ripe and good; others are just crap. But not to the extent of pears.

Or rather, do the flat ones differ in any way other than shape? Mrs D has been buying them but I haven't had one yet. I'm not much of a one for fruit.
