Just a thread to say thanks for features that Fetch has brought into being. I got a notification that "a feature you have voted for has been updated." I.e. built, done. It was a Drell suggested, upvoted by Fetchies and now live on the site. Agile development and customer satisfaction in one fell swoop. A lot of commercial websites could learn a thing or two from this Fetch lad! :-) G

FEATURE 164
Track WAVA PBs in the same way that time PBs are tracked. Some of us will never get a time PB again, but WAVA PBs are definitely worth aiming for.

Drell May 14

Fetch says: On your user profile, go to 'Race Times'. There's a new toggle above the list of best times. Use it to switch to show Best WAVA. Times and WAVA's are now clickable too. Post more features if you want something more specific.

Yeah McGooh, it's fun too - toggling back and fore between WAVA and absolute time I can see immediately that in a few distances my best WAVA is more recent than my best time. Encouraging! :-) G

That is a great feature. I did get a bit confused looking at my HM times/WAVAs and thinking there's no way I ran that in 63.08 muppet

For me, the only PB that isn't a WB too is 5k. I got 21:31 from somewhere back in 2008, and then got 21:37 in 2015, which got me nearly 3% extra on my WAVA.

Is it possible to edit the 'type' of a race? I've got an almost 80% wava against a 54 mile ultra. Yay! Go me.... except it was the London to Brighton bike ride and the time isn't that impressive on a bike. In fact it was more of a pootle! I think it shows as a 'race' implying it was done on feet.

McG - surely if the race/event is classified as a bike ride then your time will be as a bike time? Why is it calculating the WAVA as if you ran it?

It looks like the event is classified as a run by mistake. Don’t think there’s any way to change it, so you’ll have to submit a feedback from the race entry to get Fetch to do it. (Unless he reads this forum)

It's not immediately obvious actually, in a race listing, whether it's a bike or swim or run! And it's not editable. You'd need to use the "Report an Error" button on Race Finder page? :-) G
