Tough. Good to see that level of racing. Not all of the riding at the nats was exactly good riding.

Yes, Gobi, can see how traction in the dust will be an issue.

Nice. And Steppie will be pleased to see 2x still living on :-)

Appropriate choice of heat source for the time of year. Next time pedals at quarter past 9 for optimal picture aesthetics ;-)

Ah...I didn't realise pedal position was a thing - noted!

One slight problem riding home. The gear changer wouldn't move to the big ring on the front, and when I went to the smallest ring, it went straight off!

I'll have a go at adjusting it myself.

Pedal position, valve position etc etc. I like to take pictures of bikes against all these conventions 😂

So it is! I didn’t even know they were still a thing. It’s funny how we adjust - the first tell-tale sign was it not being 1x was the teeny weeny cassette at the rear :-)

Sounds like your LBS is no longer used to setting up front mechs - plenty of YouTube help out there.

26 / 27.5 (650b) / 29 / 27.5+ (650b+) / 29+ / fat
whatever you ride, enjoy it :)

Gravel also welcome :)

Also, is 26 dead yet?
