I used to use it for CX training as it is not overly technical but has some solid drags in it and enough to make it interesting at speed, however it is easy enough for a 5 year old with a little help :¬)

You know nothing of mud. I dream of Cannock mud. Ours is so bad the road bits in between the trail bits are becoming the best bits.

Yeah, it's getting a bit wearing now. I was looking through my notes at stuff that was planned and then shelved, planned and then shelved, planned and then shelved. It's a mystery how there's going to be a Pennine Bridleway Guidebook at all.

Yeah... :-(

Thank god we live so close to decent riding, if a little muddy. Mind you, I expect the Pennine Bridleway will be a bit shit right now...

The good bits will be fine - there's plenty of stony stuff - and the shitty bits will be worse than I can remember, but there really aren't that many of them overall. There's a lot of hard wearing tracks.

26 / 27.5 (650b) / 29 / 27.5+ (650b+) / 29+ / fat
whatever you ride, enjoy it :)

Gravel also welcome :)

Also, is 26 dead yet?
