Part of me wishes I'd gambled on that, McG. Monday night was fantastic and packed and bizarre and funny but I bet this last night show has a smaller core of even more hardcore fans. Also they said they're going to come out and party with the fans after the show. Watch out for the guy with the accordion. Mad as a box of frogs and all the better for it! |

He - Jason Webley - was superb. I might go see one of his solo shows. I'd gone off Night vale a bit but I loved the show and it's reinvigorated my interest in the podcast. |

I eventually listened to this on Sunday evening. It really didn't grab me at all. It was a bit like Nightvale but without a) the humour b) Cecil and those are the two things that draw me in. Without them, it's just another example of Lynchian weirdness. |

The 2 min excerpt trailer thing was almost unlistenable: she had such a dreary uninteresting voice. Not for me, I think. They seem to think that just bunging these things out is a good idea but they need a proper actor - like Cecil - with a great 'radio voice' to make it interesting.
