And that's not having a go at Dv or B Rubble rightly pointing out public perception. It's at "public" and politicians not properly informing said public.

Saw this planting getting started a few weeks back. Lots of trees. Lots. I love this.

Cycled past there recently. Yes, a *lot* of trees. Not huge area though. Glad to see a bit more forestry in the Dales, there's an awful lot of bare hillsides.

They will need looking after as the weather is drier. We have had to water our small amount from April onwards due to the lack of rain and hotter weather. We have lost 10 out of 426

Which of the Dales is that @jda? I drove up Wharfedale and over into Swaledale a couple of weeks ago and both still looked a bit bleak⦠|

Littondale, I believe. Yes it's still mostly bare, but there are little chunks of forest here and there. I do like having some views, however - when we lived in Japan, all the hillsides were thickly forested up to the 2000m treeline, so you could walk all day and barely see anything. But we're a long way from that! |

Yes. Littondale. Up dale from Litton Village. They also have planted a lot of trees just up dale from Arncliffe in Littondale over the last couple of years. Great to see.
