Who else has become totally addicted to the Netflix series Pose? I'm part way through season 2 now. I think I want to be Electra when I grow up, apart from the whole being an horrifically oppressed minority dealing with unspeakable persecution and discrimination, and a health crisis that the rest of the world mostly ignored, obviously. |

I hope you like it! If anyone's passing through because they're intrigued by the thread title - the series is about the non-white LGBTQ+ community in New York in the 1980s and 'Ballroom culture' (the kind that inspired Vogue by Madonna, not to be confused with Strictly style ballroom dancing). It's wonderful and heartbreaking and infuriating, and the soundtrack is wonderful and the costumes are A. Maze. Ing. |

I'm now up to episode 10 of series 2 (I can't remember and can't be bothered to check right now how many episodes there are or if series 3 is still a possibility), and I have so many feelings, but don't want to spoiler anyone who hasn't seen it yet.

Right?! It's magnificent. When you get to some of the more outstanding moments in series 2 PLEASE come and dissect them here, I don't really have anyone else to talk to about it and I have so many feels. When I ran out of that I moved on to Hollywood, which has a lot of the same people behind it. |
