my belts don't have notches, maybe if they did I'd spot the increase in my waistline sooner!

DvorakAnd in my sidebar. I think the in the current situation, maintaining current belt notch might be the aim.
(I have one pair of jeans with a belt, purely because they came with one. Sometimes they didn't need the belt but when they did, I managed to need a couple of notches in to stop them heading south past my (ahem) snake hips.)
