I went through a checkpoint as part of my 16-mile LSR - the marshall looked a bit confused at my lack of race number, I just gave him a cheery smile and said "good morning".

Provisional results are up on website. We've been up since silly o'clock and can barely keep our eyes open so if we've made any mistakes please let us know. :-)

Like to say thanks to BrianJ who came along and helped us out at the finish stepping up to the mark when asked. Also of course to JJ for bringing along half of the finish. I managed to miss KatieB while I was out checking the CPs and Lakes did a grand stint on not one but two checkpoints. Thanks all.

Ouch my legs hurt today!

What's harder than running a marathon? Walking it!

Many thanks to NJ, SS & the rest of the team for another cracking event

And well done to B Lass - you did indeed manage to beat us to the last position. But we gave yo a good run for your money :)

Flanker was fine H, but I was injured - knackered my ankle ligaments in the Wye Valley 50 the day before and running was pretty much impossible without extreme pain, so we got in some valuable mental and walk training instead! Walking a marathon is far harder than running one :-o

Putting the marathon back into Bedford. Or atleast, around it. There's a 16 mile option too.

13th March 2011.
