Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Thanks JRD. :-)

There is some top effort being put in here. :-)
Why oh why did I not sneak a cheeky 4 miler in yesterday lunchtime to grab 3rd place back? :-(

6 months already?

I remember when all this was fields.
Don't policemen look younger these days?

Thanks JRD, great stuff. I'm in my 'golden spell' at the moment and racking up miles training for Mablethorpe in sept. After that expect a dramatic slide: after my last big marathon I hardly ran for 2 and half months - it was only really this thread that got my mojo up enough to creep over 100 miles a month (Jan, Feb) before I really hit my straps again.

Cheers JRD.

I'm assuming the booting off is not that serious an idea but I think past performance has to be taken into consideration! People that ran much more than 1200 last year perhaps ought not to be here? People that ran less should be allowed their glory because it's a heck of an achievement.

On the other hand, all of the top 6 should go regardless!

Thinking about this, should there be an award for the person that hits 1200 the closest to midnight on New Years Eve? :-)

The group description does state "for people who ran 1000ish miles in 2007 and now want to run that little bit further. And Danny Wilde".

I don't think I'll boot anyone but I might start fining people mileage for totally discriminate reasons.
