Yay! my first in ages:-) bit much of an ask to do 169 miles in a month, but I'll be reasonably close.

50 miles in November ! Warm duvet the only reason. Should squeeze out the 34 in the next fortnight. Well done the big fella with the spreadsheet.

Next year: depends on my 'main aim' for the year. I'm torn between 2 lovers, as they say. Lover 1 is to pile on the miles and go for a sub 3 marathon (plus throw an ultra in somewhere along the line), in which case the 1800 mile thread will be my new home. Lover 2 is to go down the route of lots of speed, focus on shorter races and branch into sprint and olympic distance triathlons (hissss.....) and leave the sub 3 for 2010 (when I have a GFA place at London). In that case I'll stay at 1200, as they'll be less LSR's and workout time split with cycling and swimming but I'll want to keep some reasonable miles going throughout the year.
Decisions, decisions....
I'll be mulling it over when I am thousands of miles away over xmas.
