HappyG(rrr) my marathon will be in November but after last years crammed training for a spring marathon and then pulling out of my November marathon after about 23 miles injured I have decided to play the long game this year. Hopefully by sept /Oct I will be up to 70 ish miles a week. Not planning many races just a half marathon in September and some Parkruns

I love racing just not always easy to fit races in with work and family stuff so decided to be more targeted with the paid races this year. I do treat the Parkruns I do as races as well but nearly always do them after a night shift. I also try a pick races near the static caravan we have so it’s a weekend away as well.

Especially has someone on here puts on a rather good marathon less than a mile away from the van 😁
