apart from no water from 17ish mile, and being given a cup and told to use the tap in the public toilets at mile 22, then half a cup of warm water at 24 mile, and it being really hot and humid, and the thunderstorm, and no pointers so we stood around wondering where to go, and very few marshalls, apart from all that...it was great...

The marshall at the half way bridge was packing up whan I got there(about 2.20 hours in)

I accidentally got a pic

It's Tuesday and I've had time to reflect. Yes, the water and inaudible race brief was a bit of a negative...but everything thing else was just great; the runners, marshals & volunteers, refreshments, route, school facilities...and brilliant post race meal! I learned a lot...and will be back next year!

Thinking of my 100k race in october now, not of any marathons beyond that.
