Well done team. It was bloody tough out there today. Boiling!! And superb job supporters, gave me a massive lift both times. Thank you. Faded in the heat from 1:29:56 at halfway to finish in 3:04:41 so outside my 3 hour goal but I ain't gonna beat myself up about it. It's still a PB by nearly 5 minutes and in that heat. I'm sure 3 hours is there on a cooler day. But never mind the times, it took some proper guts to be out there at all today so hats off to every single member of the fantastic team one! |

Evening Team One, 4:14:04. I was ok until about 20 miles, still in with a shout of 4 hours, then the wheels came of, discretion instead of valour, resorted to jogging after cramps in left calf and right thigh, didn't stop at fetchpoint, sorry, had my head down for a PB, which I got by 2 mins 54. Thanks, I'll write up a blog later, feel ok righ tnow, which means I did the right thing. Edinburgh here I come
