I'm rebuilding the code that imports all these file types, because there's a lot of common ground between them. I can test it on the files that my Garmin spits out, but then again, everyone has thers set up differently, and these files can come from all sorts of devices these days. Could you:

1) send me some of your files to test with
2) generally be-at-chaaaa about the existing standard of import on offer, to help me hone the functionality

I can send you some tomorrow.

If you could make the import "headline" summary like the one from Run Saturday (or whatever it's called now), and have a look at the issue re total time v actual time (ie when you stop your watch for a wee) that'd be ace.

The .FIT upload works fine for me. It's just peachy, in fact. Couldn't be better. Wish others would do it so well.

Do you want me to go on puffing you up?

Yep - the FIT upload works peachy from my three(!) FIT devices (Forerunner 310XT/Edge 500/Edge 800)

Why would you do the FIT upload one by one when the "upload from your garmin" function does it all together without the faff of having to search for the file every time though?

Does the "upload from Garmin" work with FIT files now?

I can rustle up some old GPX files generated by a couple of smartphone apps if they're any use.

Do you also want generated routes (from Bikeroutetoaster, GPSies etc)? Or just actual recorded exercise?

I have no idea what any of these posts are about but if it helps I plug in my 205 and then it all magically appears in my training log. I think the elves that live inside my computer somehow do it.

Probably not the most helpful post Mr Everyone will get.....

Have sent you some test files from my Suunto Ambit - an original raw xml file the watch spits out, plus the same file that I've converted to gpx. I'm doing the latter for fetch uploads right now, but an importer for the original xml file format would be super cool :)
