Easy swim to get back into it
10 x 100 as 75fc, 25bs, on 3:00

Not pretty at all, but a start nonetheless.

I think I might just about make it.;-)

Longest swim evs today. Did descending steps from 800m down to 100m. 3.6k total. Knackered now. That clocks me up 80km for the year which is 49.7miles. Being running injured has been great for my swimming!

How has it gone since getting restarted Angus? How is veryone else doing.

Well done Nellers but not good that run injured. All my good months in the pool are when I have injuries/niggles.

I'm right behind you Nellers, I have about 1.7miles left to do after another ~2miles in the local lake this evening.

I think I might aim for 100km for the year though, rather than 100miles. I am definitely less keen to swim - open water or in a pool - when it gets colder

Well done you two. Flying the flag for the thread :)

Another 48 miles in 4 months sounds an ask based on 52 in 8 months. The 100k sounds too easy :) !!

I should get to 15 miles by the year end!!!

Yep, 100km was perhaps too easy to aim for although I've only just hit it. I was tripped in October and broke something in a hand when I fell, so that limited my pool time for that month.

100.2km for the year with this morning's 3250m; only the 1500 mile run target to get now.

Putting me too shame. I think I have forgotten where the pool is!

I pay a membership each month as well!! (Luckily the wife works at the Leisure Centre so its not a huge amount as get a discount)

I keep thinking about going but struggle with the motivation to get up and out early when I am pretty busy all week!

I am pay-as-you-go at my local council pool/gym/leisure centre. I use it once a week-ish through the winter, but as soon as it's nice and warm outside (and then the local lake is open), I stop going. They have a membership option where you can cancel for a few months, but I'm sure I'd forget to do that!
