I'd say it's far too hard to say - I wouldn't expect to pay more than (say) £15 for a decent club 10km with no road closures, but I'd expect to pay more for one of the big mass participation 10km's with closed city centre roads, a technical shirt and a medal. (Note: not trying to start an argument about the relative merits of each type of event!) |

I suppose I'm hoping that people would go with the sort of amount they'd be happy to pay i.e. if you tend to be drawn towards the "big" races, you'd put down more, but if you're more about local / established / club events, you'd probably be used to paying a more competitive amount. Anyhoo... we've got over a thousand replies And for anyone that's not responded, I've just heard that the goodie bag is a random bran tub collection of stuff from the RW cupboard, with an RRP of £85 - so I guess you could flog whichever bits weren't suitable. Certainly worth sticking some numbers in
