[sometime in the next 24 months we're going to have to pick a new song to start the SuperDeath XXI thread - there's only one verse left of this one]

I always get the jingle for the supermatch round in Blankety Blank. Which is not nice, and does detract from the overall experience......

The Polling Itinerary Best Usage Review Ombudsman's* SuperDeath User Group all met last night and agreed a slightly new seeding format for this year, This

(a) stops the first round being really long
(b) feeds higher seeds into the competition on a phased basis

so (assuming my maths hold up)

Round 1 will be 12 games featuring this year's bronze medalists

Round 2 will be 12 games and include this year's silver medalists

Round 3 will be 12 games and include this year's gold medalists

Round 4 will be 8 games and include the medalists from SuperDeath XVIII

followed by QF, SF and finals as usual.

If anyone *really* objects, email me or Wrigs in the next 24 hours or so. Ta.

Exciting! Any sh1t American towns getting a freebie in this one or is it purely past podiums?

Purely past podiums (or podia, if Glenn's watching). The dipping sauce from Portland Oregon that made SuperDeath last year (or the year before) seems to have been a one-off event. That's *probably* a good thing.

It's been a patchy year, but I thought Belgian Food was more fun than it had any right to be, and Wrig's British Leyland Cars was an all-time great.
