Suggestion for additional filters

It would be (mildly!) useful for me to be able to specify viewing my training log for all runs between a certain distance - e.g. all runs >8 miles,

As an interim measure, you could just sort your training log by distance and only look at the ones >8miles. Although admittedly it would be more difficult to see improvement trends etc as the entries would no longer be in date order.

Yes, that's been my workaround to date. But as you say, you lose the other sorting abilities.
