Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

That sounds a horrible place to go sub-50. Very well done, Tipsku.

Thanks everyone. My clubmate just posted her garmin splits. She won the race. The total elevation gain was 757 ft! ouch... I was right behind her at mile 1 and still within 50 yards at mile 2 but I need to work on my leg speed. I lost her at about 2.5 miles when we came down the mountain. How people can run sub 7 miling is still beyond me - I don't manage that even when it's downhill!

Try to look on it positively Fitzer. You just need to lose 3 seconds a mile. You CAN do it! I know how frustrating it is to come that close but really it's a great result. Well done! :-)
