Better week for me this week, inventing a new routine at the moment for the morning runs, which includes getting up earlier with time for a pre-run cuppa.. seems to help! :-)

Am now trying to concentrate on how I can improve ready for hills.. need to re-think some core work too

Any tips or thoughts would be appreciated :-)

Well... once this rain stops messing us all about it's time to get out for a decent run - although I am not sure I have one in me today - bit jaded from an night out that turned messy due to no tea! Cant be doing that if I want to up my training game!

Anyhow.. am still concentrating on quality - have ordered myself a Garmin 110 in the hope of starting to think again about speeds - and also doing some cross training "Bits" at the end of runs with weights

I've entered Beachy today, so this thread is now about two training targets this year

Good luck to all running Manchester tomorrow :-)

But will be good to have a bit of pre race chat over a cuppa and wave you off :-)

Reporting in - well my new little friend babygaga is on the go, two runs recorded now and I am finding it enjoyable. Not one for gadgets but yesterday seeing the pace and distance really really helped me and I was in the frame of mind to push, pretty chuffed with my 6 hill 5.6miles run at average under 10min miles - YEY!
