That’s a great run Lee! Next stop sub-2:45! If I could ever go under 1:20 for a half I’d be over the moon. My training plan is a weekly 5k jog. Lots of cycling too though. Post Pandemic Parkrun debut planned for this weekend. Quite excited about it. |

terrific running Lee - I caught the shortest glimpse of it in TV; you must have thought you'd travelled to another world....I mean it looked cool and a bit damp!! You've still got to go out and produce though. Super running. Any marathons in the plan? I'll be targeting 3:10 at London now. The head, my heart rate, & Tanda suggest that my training hasn't got me to where I need to be to think about a sub 3 this time around. Head down for one more week then I'll look forward to the taper. |

Whats Tanda WW ? I'm in the same boat as you. i'm hitting all my paces, ran a 1:21 HM last week but i don't think i have enough miles in me for a sub 3. i might just scrap by but i suspect its going to hurt.

it's just another calculator SKR, there are a lot of caveats associated with it but I have found that it correlates quite closely for me. I went on about it for so long that in the end Ian incorporated it in to Fetch! fetcheveryone.com/training-calculators-tanda.php |

Great running Lee, congrats on the PB! Tanda is predicting 3:03 for me WW, previous times have been very close but suspect that it predicts based on you nailing your training (no injuries). Missing a few days adds a chunk to your time. I think we’ll both beat our predictions based on that. |

Just had the latest email from London - really quite peed off that they've decided to do that this year.

Thanks guys! It’s not just my training getting smarter that has got me to this place! It’s you guys! 🤜🏻🤛🏻 Your advice, seeing you nail PB’s, watching you come back when things go wrong, and just your overall positive outlook on life and running! It is just as important as the work I put in! ✊🏻 jda - Although it would be nice, I don’t think I’ll hit that target. I think higher mileage would be needed and I don’t think I can do many more in a week? Sub 2:50 will be the next barrier! Then onto Ultras I think? WW - Milton Keynes in May 2022! 💪🏻 Slow and steady is the way. Nail the sub 3:10 then it will be easier getting back in the sub 3 club! I’ve ran with you remember, it will be easier for you than you think! 👍🏻 LMH - What are London doing this year? |

For those doing autumn marathons, I’m sure even if they are just below your best, it will stand you in good stead for a winter campaign. I’m wondering how long it will take before I can count myself as a runner again…….😬
