Sorry to hear that Adders but some big gains this year nonetheless. Next year you might just crack it first race back you never know :)

I FINALLY broke 16mins for 5k just about in 15.58.8. Ran it very conservatively 9.33 3k PB lol and just about managed it. After a season of injury, interrupted training and now starting to feel tired I'm rather satisfied :)

Nice one Alex! your now in the 15.** group :) sub 2 800m next!

I ran a PB at that last meet, 4.22 (s0 5 seconds off). I was secretly hoping for sub 4.20 but I'm still happy with that. Although my time doesn't seem so good as just above my report in our newsletter there was a 13 year old in our club that ran 4.22! That ranks him 1st in the UK and 4th on the all time list.

Thanks guys :) I potentially have a last track meet next Sunday...not sure if an 800m is the best option though haha.

Blister - Saw that big PB good lad you can go under 4.20 with a few more under your belt for sure :)

Not great Blister but I don't really care :)

Pace wasn't for me just ran the pace I wanted to and didn't really push anything. Hence a 9.18.9 but hey it's a PB. Really tricky distance it'll take some getting used to.

That's still a lot faster than I could ever do!

Did a last minute 10K on Sunday (Melksham). I was going to run with my girlfriend as I persuaded her to try it. She did really well 53.41 for her first ever 10k run and considering that the ever race she did before that was a 5K in about 27 minutes a few weeks ago.

I did 38.22 (15th out of 150) which wasn't too bad considering I have hardly trained over the last few weeks, I spent the previous day cutting hedges and I haven't done any 10k type training. It would be good to be in shape to run about 2 minutes quicker than that by the end of the XC season.

My trainings been consistent enough. Havent raced much off season, but have a 3000m indoor in Cardiff on Sunday (SWE Champs).
