SPR - unfortunately the ankle can't cope but yes my spine prefers more regular efforts

jda, I bought an NPE Runn last year for my treadmill. It seems far more accurate, although it's hard to ever be sure. Mine definitely runs at inconsistent speeds under certain conditions, despite calibrating it and keeping it well maintained.

I'd love to see a way to synchronise a recorded run with a treadmill. A bit like what Fullgaz offers for cycling - you can record a ride and submit it, then other people can ride the route.

Synchronising gradient sounds appealing too, but I don't think that would work well in practice. You'd have to vary the speed and gradient too, otherwise people would get thrown off the back!

Ran a 10.30 3km on Wednesday off no speedwork so sub 18 should still be fine when I eventually race:-)

I've got a 5k tomorrow. It won't be sub-18, it might be sub-19 which would do for now.

Yes Gobi, really just an excuse to pin a number on and keep things ticking over. Winter is serious training season, summer is a bit of fun.

Without the motivation of races I've just not done the run training.
