Oh I hadn't heard that about Shirley - I hope she does come back, I thought she was good at explaining the technicalities.

I like Brendan (in fact I'm going to see his show next month) but I had started to find his "woe is me" attitude a bit wearing. It's a shame, but not the end of the world.
Haven't heard anything about Shirley - but I wouldn't mourn her departure either.

OK I'll come clean, I read it on the daily mail website so it was probably crap!

The Scribbler
Enjoy Brendan's show Ness. If it's the same one I saw earlier this year, it's really fabulous and shows what an amazing dancer he is, as well as being funny and entertaining. I have mixed feelings about him going, but he did get a good run at Strictly. I'm sure he will be shocked, although the script is written for him going over one outburst too many. The show seems to be going more towards introducing new pro dancers fairly regularly, giving them a chance to become our new favourites. I still miss Flavia...

I've seen him twice before Scribbler, and yes, he's amazing. Strictly didn't really show him off at his best. I saw Natalie Lowe and Ian Waite once too - now they were fab-u-lous, and really nice people too (did the whole meet and greet thing so totally in awe).
Vincent and Flavia were here last year too - such an emotional show.

Little Nemo
I don't think I'll miss him, I think he had started to look a bit jaded several years ago. He was patronising to Shirley and I don't think he did Charlotte any favours with some of his choreography last year.
However he is responsible for one of my favourite moments on Strictly when he did his "this girl" shtick to Sophie Ellis-Bextor: "I'm 34 Brendan!"

Surrey Phil
I don't mind Brendan. He's a bit like Wolf was in Gladiators - someone with a bit of attitude. It would be nice to have one of the old pro's back but there is more of an emphasis on bringing in younger talent.
My daughter's a fan of Janette and Aljaz, so we're going to be getting some Remembering Fred tickets. Just need to decide which venue to go to as the tour is quite extensive.

I had tickets to see Janette and Aljaz last year, Phil - then realised it was the same date as the Stirling Marathon and had to sell them....

Cuddy
The show might become a bit of a bore without someone feisty like Brendan. I hope it just frees him up for something better.
