Our first attempt at organizing the event seemed to go pretty well (http://www.strathearnharriers.org.uk/strathearnmarathon/2012_feedback.pdf) so we decided to have another one... entries are now open at Entry Central http://www.entrycentral.com/Strathearn_Marathon. Same price as last year (£23/£25). Same beautiful, quiet and challenging route. Same super-friendly marshalls. Lots more info available at http://www.strathearnharriers.org.uk/strathearnmarathon/smhome.htm.

If you ran it last year, what would you like to see done differently this year?

I've only done three marathons so far, but Strathearn was definitely my favourite by a long stretch. I'd encourage all Fetchies reading this to enter. :-)

Merry Christmas & Happy NewG(rrr)
Big up for this one - only good reports from our club folk who attended it. Top banana banana. Depending on London, I would love to do it. I may however be licking my wounds! :-)G

HappyG, I suppose we need to keep our fingers crossed that entries don't fill up too quickly then so that we can still decide nearer the time. ;-) Though it'll be hard not recommending it to everyone, seeing just what a fantastic race it was! :-)

Just back from organizing committee meeting for this year's Strathearn Marathon. Everything's taking shape for June.

Highland Spring water booked. T-shirts provisionally ordered. Marshals almost all in place and most importantly the Cake Tsar has been appointed with responsibility for the post race food.

Getting excited!!!!
