I'll be there again. Not exactly a speedy 4/5 miles at the start but I enjoy the route (my normal training route) and it is a fine morning out.

Plus it will be the first HM I've raced in a year and a half!

Barring injury and/or drunkenness, me and the missus will be there. Looking forward to my first bash at our local half marathon.

Missing it this year due to work commitments but its a good wee half. Bit of a hilly route but a good finish downhill into town.

And you get a free swim in the open air pool....

I'm looking forward to this race too. I've run it a few times in training but this will be my first time to do the actual race. My only goal is to enjoy it as I think it will be too hard to get a PB. Also will probably be chatting to everyone on the way round! Husband's Auntie has promised to cheer us on at the Slug road junction with the Swanley road.

That's a shame Thistle! We booked our holiday after looking at the Born2Run website to make sure we didn't miss any good runs!

I've offered (thru my Jogscotland stonehaven group) to help/marshall at this event.

I'm not quite up to the 2:45 time limit.... and i don't fancy them hilly bits!

Free swim in open air pool??? yeuch!!

2.45 is a strict cut-off for this tough half.
