Possibly sounds like IBS, I have both IBS and ITB.

I decided not to risk the 20 mile race I had signed up for, but instead did a local training run, 16 with a mate and 4 on my own. Scheduled a loo stop after a mile and it did the trick.

I'll be back at the docs in two weeks for more tests.

Sorry to hear others are struggling with it too.

quick google of runners trots shows 20-50% of runners get it, find out where the bushes are on your routes and trial and error with food before running, ie I now know I have to avoid eating handfuls of maltesers on an empty stomach before running!
