Wriggling Snake Oct 2014 4:12pm, 9 Oct 2014 7,695 posts	0 Wriggling Snake I'm in. I've only ever done two 10 mile races before. GSR 2013, 76 odd mins, Gale Force winds at the end. Cotswold Classic a few weeks back, windy and feckin hill,y, 79 mins odd and I do mean feckin.... Just How tough is this one?

njosmith Oct 2014 8:05pm, 11 Oct 2014 47 posts	0 njosmith Looking at my times, my best Stockport 10 is 2 minutes slower than my 10 Mile PB which was on a very flat course. But I had done quite a bit more training for the PB race.

Quite looking forward to it, a couple of weeks rest beforehand as on holiday, but seeing I have a HM and a 5 miler before the second week of november, this should be just fine.

snogard Oct 2014 1:48pm, 22 Oct 2014 165 posts	0 snogard Quite a bit, this year the start is 350m on the track instead of 750m. There is an out and back on Curzon Green and instead of going via Hattersley the route goes down clapper gate and on to dark lane before hitting Osbourne Road. However New Zealand road is still at 8.5 miles. I am told there is another change but I don't know where that is yet!
