Hoorah, more speedy ladies :-)

Fancy dress is totally optional. The hens haven't quite decided on their theme, but I think we were getting close to girl power ie. Spartans, superheros, Maggie Thatcher power suits, Pankhurst outfit (not so easy to run in) etc etc. Basically, anything to make the boys in dresses look even more wet.

Me neither but I'll find something to pad it with and put flesh coloured straps on it. It might be more a 'Wonder Woman if Wonder Woman did running' kind of outfit.:-)

Heels are out, but I still want the metal cuffs, headband and the gold rope! :-)

If you didn't know, BigChiefRunningBore and I are getting married in May. Hoorah!

Sadly, we can't invite everyone to the wedding so we thought we'd take over a Parkrun for a Stags vs Hens race at 9am on Saturday 5th May and invite as many people as would like to turn up to run with us. All welcome, it's not a clique thing.

It'll be at Brockwell Park, short walk from Herne Hill overground or Brixton tube.

Led by Chief and DaveB, the stags will (optionally) be in drag. Dave has promised to wear a garter. Contro will be doing a progressive run as he arrives through Brixton in a dress and compression socks.

There may be champagne and cake at the finish line if we get organised but we'll go on for breakfast at the Lido Cafe for bloody marys and bacon sandwiches. thelidocafe.co.uk
