They're not hills ;-)

PB by over 10 mins, on a progressive run. On this basis 3:30 should be very doable.

Easily flanker

They are hills to those of us who run flat most the time

Preferred this to Folksworth, great marshalls and well organised too. Undulating i think would be the correct term.

Mike, I'm now sure 360° and I ran alongside you for a wee while. I wondered at the time if it was you, but I thought you looked too young to be you! (that's a compliment!)

The organisers/support deserve real credit for this race, even thought I had a full on Weston.

I love this race, and such a beautiful day yesterday managed to crank out my 10 miles @ PMP effort from the 6 mile point, tough on some of those inclines but the downhills made up for it. Marshals were excellent yesterday (as they always are)

When I did Folksworth and Stamford in the same year I thought afterwards Folksworth was harder but I can't put my finger on why.

I think Folksworth is more barren and exposed, not much to see, not as many marshall points, no jelly babies and slightly harder hills although less of them.

Thanks for the compliment!
I wondered if it was you too. I could see the two of you until about 11 miles and then the wheels came off.
The guys that do the water stations and provide support along the way really make this event.
The "Welsh" really lifted me when I needed it.
I am marshalling near the end of Snake Lane so I'll give you a wave.
Perhaps I will stay on your pace a bit better at Hull or the Noth Lincs half.
