Old Man......thinking of developing a cheerleader routine. But then again, miss that buzzy feeling at the end of a race ;-)

What time did the 2 hour pacers finish in.

I went through halfway on 1hour dead gun time and sub 59 chip and was a long way behind them

They set off very fast, first two miles in 8:49 8:41, and I lost them at that stage.

They finished in 1:59-something. We all run to gun time so the first couple of miles tend to fractionally faster than goal pace.

Oh ok, that explains the fast start. Must have slowed second half.

Managed a 4 minute PB today of 1:48, coached mercilessly by FF. Tried (and failed quite brilliantly) to keep with the 1:45 pacers. Thanks to the fetchies on the hill (both times) today. the pom poms and whistles were great and made me smile, although i was dying inside.

Good to see my regular fetchie friends and meet new ones.

Loads of PBs or successful races today - brilliant! :-)
