I was still surprised that he was so poorly placed. Competition this year was particularly tough I though. FWIW I don't think past winners should be nominated against unless they have done something substantially different in a different arena.

Fairly quiet sporting year, probably the biggest thing will be the Athletics champs, and no Jess to get more votes from that.
