Speeding up for a half-marathon

Reading this thread I've picked up on the fact that LSR should be SLOW. I did 12mm today and don't feel too knackered (17.5m), normally I'd try to do a LSR in 10.30-11mm and am in pieces by the end. Thanks for the advice ![]() |

you can usually knock of 1-2 mm in a race due to adrenalin rush and being surrounded by other runners going at the same pace, get in a pen or surround yourself with sub 2 hour runners and you'll nail it easy enough. |
