You did a great job, Mate. Glad you had a good time too. Your running partner (terrible memory. What was her name?) was great, too, wasn't she?

And Night-Owl is getting on for being in the form of her life! Brilliant running there.

Louise is a really nice lass. We only had one argument. I had to insist on paying for the second round of coffees in the harvester afterwards.

True, Greg. It certainly seems to be working for Pammie. I guess that having the impetus to keep running regularly is a good thing. At some point I suspect it will prevent adequate recovery but in the meantime good luck to her.

Actually Nellers I apparently made the mistake (so she told me afterwards) and asking her to set the pace but she said if she had let me do it I would have been able to drag her round quicker. I won't let her get away with that next time!

Trying to get a parkrun set up in Southend on Sea.

Summer 2011 - Asked parkrun about setting it up

Looked at potential courses
October 2011 - Application documents submitted to Southend Council
December 2011 - Met with council
Feb 2012 - 1st application rejected by Council
April 2012 - Met with Council again
July 2012 - 2nd event application submitted

August 2012 - Funding secured and event app accepted
25/09/12 - Shhh! Secret test event. Fmail for details!
13/10/12 - First Event!
