I need to go back and check my calculations. Either that or the course is a few yards short (probably my mistake though). Having done 28:32 last week she told me she wanted to go sub 28 today. We ran inside the pace I thought we needed to do but came up as 26:44! The arse about this is that her PB is 26:43. ![]() |

Course must be short. Checked calculator. 28 min for 5K is 9:01 pace. Our first three splits were 8:54, 8:52 & 8:46. Did the odd end bit at 6:23 pace. That lot doesn't add up to 26:44. I did start my garmin on the line, not when the "gun" went. My garmin said 26:40, so close enough and those 4 seconds were almost certainly the start line shuffle. |
