same here, have done this before with salomons on, feet were killing me afterwards! some of the ground is tough as old boots!!

Bit concerned about this, only clocked up a 17 miler in training, got a feeling those hills will be walked up!!

your not wrong, any ideas how easy it is to get to the start on the train? just looking at the possibilities of travelling down there by train, and my other half coming down later to watch the finish,

No probs, not really sure if its possible, will be clocking into the 'slow' start! dont think the trains run there early enough, will have a look,

Chelsian, as long as you're at Slindon College for about 9am you should be fine - clearly it depends what your predicted finish time is as to when you start though. When I did it, I drove to the finish line and got the coach to the start as well.
