I get terrible bowel cramps and pain after about 11 miles - although I have nothing to poo at all and don't particularly want to, it's a different sort of pain. If I run more will my body get used to more miles and hurt a bit later?

It's hard to say Cyclops. I have had that as well but only now and then. Maybe muck around with foods the day before runs to see what happens?

I'll try to plan what I eat a bit better. The rhubarb crumble certainly wasn't a good idea....

John........................take it you have knocked running the day after a Doner Kebab with all the trimmings on, including that extra 'special' spicy sauce we all regret on the head ? :-)

In the light of the recent scandal to hit the world of Fetcheveryone, which has obviously shook everyone's world to it's core, and will probably make it onto a daytime show like Jeremy Kyle. I have been thinking back to threads I have contributed to and possibly created (all of 2 I think) and wondering if people found it offensive. Now I think this one which I think was possibly my first ever creation and first ever post could be seen as offensive to those of a sensitive nature, I guess the difference is that it's not aimed at others because we talk about our own problems as opposed to focussing on other peoples good points.

Anyway, it has made me realise that I haven't suffered from this complaint for quite a while, nothing has changed diet wise, nothing has changed running wise, I think I just know when it's safe to set foot outside or when it's best to wait. I also have some emergency toilets on a cpl of my routes but I think some of it could be in the head.

Anyone else had a reduction in bowel(oooh can I say that?) movements while running?

TT have you stayed off the kebabs?
