Lots of old buildings around here have these distinctive arched ‘Dering’ windows.


This one does too, it was was mainly an excuse to post a picture of this lovely rose garden :)

This old X hauls logs and our old carcass into the hills.


Sometimes a crossing is narrow enough to jump, or you get a kind person laying planks in the past.


Other times, well, crossing just means getting we feet. (X-Talons)


Inside here there are various notes and graffiti, including the odd X marking timber pieces.
