I really enjoyed it on Saturday and got a thoroughly undeserved 4:56 given my absolute lack of training! Really enjoyed the last two miles as my fell legs kicked in. I had a real push as I'd been told near the top of the last climb if I put my head down and went for it I would get sub 5! I also managed my best marathon sprint finish too. I will definitely be back again, maybe next year but I also fancy a go at Beachy too.

So lovely to meet Fetchies around the course and well done to all.

4:56 for me as well...tough day out but really enjoyed it. Achilles troubles from mile 3 & then calf cramps from 17 onwards, walked up the last hill and had to walk bits of the last downhill just had no legs left, such a great downhill finish as well was frustrating.

Back next year for sure.

Well, after running on Saturday, yesterday's race in Stockport was more of a shuffle! But on the plus side, my legs don't feel too bad today. Just a bit tired and a tight calf.

I'm quite tempted to do it again next year, with some actual training for it done, but I'll just have to see - lots of things to consider.

Was nice to bump into Scibs, HOD and missvivvy on the course. Really enjoyed the race, the support along the route was fantastic. A lack of proper preparation meant a painful death on the final hill and a finish time of 4.23. Still, I managed to run the first 22 miles and the final two..and I'm sure I will be back someday to try and improve..
