Question for you

On Saturday I bought fresh chicken breasts from the butcher

Put them straight in the freezer

I want to use them in the slow cooker on Wednesday…. Am I ok to put in frozen? Will be 8+ hrs on low

A quick google says:

How long does frozen chicken take to cook in a slow cooker?
Place the frozen chicken breasts with the butter and seasoning in the Crock-Pot insert. Cover and cook on LOW heat for 6-8 hours, or HIGH heat for 4-6 hours. Check the temperature of the chicken to make sure, at minimum, it is cooked to 165 degrees F.15

I have done meat from frozen, I think chicken can be better - it can cook too long, especially the breat meat.
